K9 Solutions was GAME CHANGER for us. I can’t recommend them enough that I’ve been bringing their business cards to local businesses to help spread the word. Be prepared to put in some work for a long lasting reward of having a well-obedient dog. Aldin is extremely patient, dedicated and knowledgeable. He truly has a big heart for dogs and that’s who you want as your trainer!
Before we had Aldin’s help we were frustrated with our dogs reactivity—lots of stress that it was difficult to enjoy a simple walk! We had a previous trainer who basically made it all worse on top of some dogs charging/barking at our dog that made him become a bit reactive.
I came across K9 solutions after being at my wits end and I’m so glad we called! We started the training in our home and with a brand new set of tools, slowly moving up to more intense situations and pulling the tools away. Whats great about this training program was that Aldin also brought his military trained dog and integrated him into the training. Through about 10 sessions we watched our dog’s demeanor on walks/ in house commands transform to be fully confident and well obedient. We finished our training at a local market where dogs passed by and even barked at our dog and there was zero reactivity from him. Wow!! I’ve even had people ask me if I’m a trainer when I’ve been training my dog on public.

We had a great experience working with Dr. Aldin. Our goal was to reduce our almost 3 year old dog Phoebe’s reactivity (barking and pulling) to other dogs while on leash, and to be calm in public settings.
Due to megaesophagus, Phoebe cannot have treats so Dr. Aldin helped us identify other rewards to use for training. Dr. Aldin is very patient, friendly and thorough in his explanations. He is incredibly knowledgable about dogs and how to shape their behavior. You need to put in the effort and time, but we have seen significant improvement in Phoebe’s reactivity.
Today in our final session she learned to sit calmly next to us in a high foot traffic area while dogs walked by only 5-8 ft away. We have more work to do with Phoebe, but Dr. Aldin has given us the tools and hands on experience in public settings to understand what to do moving forward, and will be available if any questions arise.
It was very convenient to have sessions at our house, and then in nearby outdoor locations. We recommend K9 Solutions to anyone looking for a dog trainer in the area!

We've had dog trainers in the past but Dr. Aldin was the best. We have a corgi(Uva) with reactivity problems (barking and growling specially to other dogs) and within the first couple sessions we saw a huge improvement.
Our corig already knew basic commands but within 4 sessions she was able to follow them with distractions and even with other dogs around.
We learned a lot of tools from Aldin (like right marker words, use of elevated bed, kennel and prong collars) to improve our communication with Uva and the difference is huge.
We are aware that training a dog is a long term process but Aldin guide us in the right direction on how to engage with our dog and build trust.
Milestones I'm really happy about: - When friends are around we can get her attention with no problem and she stay in her place the whole time. - She was able to hang out with other dogs and even cats and no barking or jumping at all. - Walking has been so easy now that she walks by our side without pulling or stay behind.
